Lizzy Simunovic has a lifelong connection with the visual arts and has successfully exhibited and sold her work. Her paintings are inspired by a deep love of the outdoors and a desire to capture the uplifting energy of the natural world. ​

She creates expressive landscapes using layered brushwork, mixed media and palette knife techniques. Through vibrant colour, texture and dynamic mark-making, Lizzy explores the movement of light through the bush, the rhythms of natural forms, and the vitality of water and coastal environments.​

​Rather than replicating a landscape exactly as it appears, her work focuses on the emotional experience of being immersed in nature; the shifting light through trees, the atmosphere of wild places and the powerful movement of the sea.​
